If you’ve been feeling the desire to make a decision or a change something up in your life lately.
It’s time. It’s time to choose, to put the vision in place and begin to map out the steps on how its going to happen. Unlike the January goals, now is a more likely time that you will be able to hold true to your goals and maintain your conviction to make it happen.
But first you need to create some space to allow your truest direction to come forward.
With the welcoming of the Spring Equinox here in the northern hemisphere, we open ourselves up to the Wood Element and are given the opportunity to clean and clear out old stuff, old beliefs, to take the necessary steps in leaving that job that isn’t inspiring you any longer, and maybe even let go of relationships that no longer hold space for the person you’ve become.
Much like the Metal Element which was most felt in the Fall, one of the main processes is to let go in order to allow for realignment and much inner work and alignment to occur, the Wood Element allows us to clean up the clutter that serves as a distraction from what we’re really meant to be doing. Its not necessarily as deep as the work you would have done in the Fall and Winter as this is more of the final clean up. Making sure all of the debris left over from all that work that you’ve been doing is removed so that you can see the beauty that you’ve created.
The action of Wood is far less subtle, and way more active. We’re in the Yang phase of the year and therefore, It’s got a swift and straight to the point momentum and it’s coming for you if you don’t move out of the way. Which is why right now its the perfect opportunity to take stock of your environment and assess what needs to be removed to make the necessary space for you to move on to your next step. Perhaps even your destiny.
So, Spring Clean! Clear out the pantry if you’re wanting to change the way you eat. Clear out your closet, Remove the toxic products out of your home, make a plan that allows you to leave your job for real this time, articulate what you need with the people in your life and allow the ones that can’t hold that space for you to remove themselves from your path.
If you’re stuck on where to start, take a breath, close your eyes and envision the life that you want, Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years or maybe even 6 months.
The Wood Element is what holds this vision, allow it to hold you, and then ask your future self where to start.
Don’t judge the answer that comes, it may seem a little out there, indulge it and see where the path begins to open and you feel the light shine through to lead the way.
If you need a little further support, perhaps it’s time to check out the “My Inner Alchemy” digital program. You can do that here.
In the comments below I would love to hear where you’re starting and what’s being cleared out to make room for the bigger vision.
