5 Element Alchemy Turns 1

Its been a crazy year and not anything I expected. Most would assume the release of your debut book to be all fire, excitement and celebration, I assumed this. But, instead it kicked off a year of deep healing and metamorphosis.
Given the transformative work I do with my own clients and now being on the other side of this year, I have to laugh and think “of course it brought a whole new level of inner work and healing.” Why would you think anything different. Bringing a creative project to a close and releasing it out to have it’s own journey brings about new initiations and self discovery.
That doesn’t even account for the life stuff that I’ve encountered this past year. Many of you know that the release of my book is also intertwined with the sudden passing of my dad the same week. As you can imagine this comes with a year of firsts and reconciling my heart that I don’t ever get to share new moments with him on this plane. Its bittersweet, and I’m thankful that he got to hold my book in his hands the last time I saw him.
Another thing that occurred, that I’ve kept pretty close to me is that for the better part of 3 years I’ve been waiting to have surgery. I’ve actually been experiencing excruciating nerve pain in my left arm and dominant hand that has resulted in loss of sensation in some of my fingers including a loss of dexterity. Thankfully I’ve been able to still needle and work in a clinic setting however the longer the surgery was prolonged the greater risk I was at to lose more function.
The pandemic lengthened the time line considerably and I’ve been in a perpetual state of waiting unsure of how to move forward with any projects that I’ve been wanting to share with you because I didn’t know if I would have the capacity to support others during the ebbs and flow of pain and possibly the early recovery phase post surgery.
Though I have to laugh, at the beginning of the year I decided I wasn’t going to wait anymore and trusted that I would figure it out when the time came, which allowed me to release Sacred Words. And then the very next day I got the call that I was going to have surgery in less than a month.
I’m 7 weeks post surgery from a anterior cervical discectomy and fusion at my C6-C7 spine and so far so good. I was off from seeing clients for the better part of 6 weeks and this time allowed me to get even clearer on what comes next. I will be sharing more about that in the coming weeks and intending to connect with you more frequently moving forward.
In the meantime. Let’s celebrate 5 Element Alchemy being out in the world for 1 year! This book has had quite the journey so far.
Getting real shelf space in book stores (something that I never thought would be possible).
Being sold on every continent of the world. Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America and Australia.
So many countries and people are finding out about the 5 Elements it kind of blows my mind.
I’m so thankful to each of you that shared the love, bought copies for yourself and your friends and let others know about my work.
