Medicine to Strengthen Intuition In These Times of Uncertainty and Fear

I felt it necessary to offer some medicine that I am practicing myself during this very tumultuous and uncertain time to calm the spirt, quell anxiety and come home to your own inner knowing so that it may help guide you towards your next steady steps.

Acupressure Point

Ki 1 ~ Calms the spirit and replenishes the essence and vitality of ones being by helping to calm agitation, fear, disassociation, anxiety, weeping and obsessions.

Position: On sole of your foot, in the depression with foot in plantar flexion, at the junction of the anterior 1/3 and posterior 2/3 of line connecting base of the 2nd and 3rd toes with the heel. A simple google search will provide you photos to help you with location.

Essential Oil blends

I have had an immunity blend diffusing in our home most of the week, however if you need something more specific to help you calm try this.

Spooked ~ For Calming Sudden Fear (use before bed on the soles of your feet)

Geranium (2 drops) Vetiver (3 drops) Rose (1 drop) 10mL Carrier Oil

*if you have a history of breast cancer or other estrogenic related cancers, do not use geranium essential oils. Please email me and we can find a suitable alternative. Vetiver on its own is lovely.

Other Exercises

Shake: When a person experiences extreme shock or fear they will begin to shake. This is the bodies instinctual way of dispelling the situation or experience out of the body in order to protect the organs such as the adrenals and kidneys. One can shake as a practice to access the fear that they have internalized in their lifetime to dispel and release their attachments in both the mental and physical realms.

Limit Scrolling: News feeds are saturated with panic. While its important to stay informed, do so in small bites. To linger, only fuels our own personal anxiety and exhausts our bandwidth to the point of not being able to hear our own wisdom and implement our own personal decision making.

Meditate and Pray: For myself these two actions often find themselves intertwined. Prayer often leads me to asking questions. About my life, whats going to happen regarding x y and z and also what is my next steps. Meditation is often where I hear my answer or am inspired to take action. It doesn’t matter how you do them or in what order but if you feel pulled to the stillness, do it. Find a guided meditation, sit on your cushion, guide yourself into your favourite yoga asana and breathe. Ask your questions, send light to those that are currently suffering, and then become aware to the strengthening of your inner knowing to speak up louder to be heard.

If you need more support, don’t hesitate to reach out we can do this together.

XO
